International Benefits and Compensation Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for managing the design, development, and administration of international benefits programs through the identification of external trends, bench-marking, best practices, and vendor management. Analyze and review programs within each country, including financial modeling and tax implications and recommend changes and enhancements to senior management to ensure market competitive, efficiency, and compliance with local laws. Partner on firm technology projects and vendor implementations, including defining requirements, serving as a liaison between vendors and the firm's technical team, and project managing implementation timelines. Collaborate and integrate with domestic benefit strategies and design. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on all international benefits items, including providing written response to address escalations and work with the benefit operations team and insurance providers to resolve any issues. Support acquisition due diligence and integration efforts on international items involving benefits. Partner with internal teams and key stakeholders to ensure processes support business needs and goals are met.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with benefits administration for a publicly traded company with a large global footprint

-5+ years of experience with developing and administering international benefits, including experience with benefits programs in the MENA region, ASEAN, and Europe

-Experience in consulting with strong leadership qualities and problem solving and analytical expertise

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

-Experience with M&A, including leading the benefits aspects of mergers and acquisitions

-Knowledge of international health care laws and domestic regulations, including ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, and health care reform

-Ability to successfully organize, prioritize, and implement multiple projects simultaneously

-Ability to build valuable partnerships across organizational functions, including finance, legal, tax, and compliance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with HR technologies, including Workday a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including participant correspondence, presentations, leadership briefings, and board materials

-MA or MS degree
