We are currently in search of a dynamic outside sales professional with superior strategic selling skills to focus in Tier 2 automotive sales throughout the DC area. The ideal candidate will have a disciplined approach to maintaining day-to-day sales activity levels, the ability to prospect and acquire new business, strong presentation skills and a proven track record in building and sustaining client-based relationships. The representative will identify emerging trends within the digital industry, think beyond TWP Digital product lines, and develop relationships outside of the typical media buying chain in order to facilitate sales.  This role will focus on automotive industry.

  • Sell premium digital advertising products to a varied client base in the DMV market through outside sales and in-person presentations
  • Determine clients' current and future advertising and marketing needs, creating customized solutions, and closing sales for retained and incremental revenue; generate sophisticated sales proposals
  • Uncover new opportunities, while remaining steadfast with your current automotive client list
  • Communicate and report sales plans and actions taken
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, trade journals, etc., as they pertain to your clients and category
  • Employ an entrepreneurial and creative approach to your business
  • Collaborate with internal partners effectively
  • Attend outside functions as needed


  • Experience in selling digital display advertising, audience extension, video, etc.
  • Strong presentation and in-person sales skills, a consultative selling approach and a proven record of accomplishment in building and sustaining client and agency relationships
  • Knowledge of the local automotive digital media market with the ability to respond effectively to market direction, client needs and competition
  • Deep relationships with local advertising agencies and clients
  • Proven self-starter with strong business development focus, willing to prospect and uncover new business
  • Ability to establish rapport, develop credibility and sell ideas to senior management
  • Goal-oriented and have a track record of meeting quarterly and annual goals
  • Desire to manage the entire sales process which includes prospecting, acquiring new business, closing and maintaining relationships
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong work ethic, professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer skills required, including proficiency with MS Office suite Minimum
  • Active use of the customer relationship management tool is a plus
  • 5-7 years of outside sales experience (media sales experience is strongly desired)
  • Bachelor's degree
