The Institute currently seeks a Senior Program Assistant to support the Managing Director and General Counsel (MD/GC).   The Senior Program Assistant will manage the MD/GC’s calendar, plan events and travel, assist in coordinating the work of the IIF’s Special Initiatives and Innovation Departments, and plan programs for the IIF Future Leaders. The target start date for this position is May 2018.

Responsibilities Include:

Serve as special assistant to the General Counsel (maintain complex calendar across time zones; book domestic and international travel; complete expense reports; manage correspondence and deadlines; respond to requests from other departments and administrative staff)

Provide programmatic support to the Innovation and Special Initiatives Departments (edit, proof, and conduct research; support members and committees; compile invitation lists and draft event correspondence; track event registrations; assist with event logistics and speakers)

Serve as secretariat to the IIF Future Leaders Group (oversee logistics for the program; manage distribution of correspondence and materials to group; organize group meetings; maintain project timelines; assist in the preparation of briefings, presentations and agendas; manage the nomination and invoicing process)

Provide administrative support to the CEO in the absence of the CEO’s Executive Assistant, assisting with scheduling and travel as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Applicants should have a college degree, at least one year of professional experience, strong command of the English language, and excellent written and oral communication skills.  Personal attributes such as a high degree of professionalism, strong organizational skills, the ability to handle confidential documents with discretion, and attention to detail are essential.   Candidates must exhibit a high degree of professionalism and be able to exercise good judgment under time pressure. Demonstrated experience with membership database software and event planning is preferred. This position requires occasional international and domestic travel.
