Senior Patient Account Representative-Commerical Service Pharmacy

Coordinates and maintains primary and secondary insurance claim processing for high dollar claims. Follows-up with insurance companies, field patient inquiries, and manage accounts receivables to ensure that all claims are processed and paid in a timely manner. Responsible for assisting Patient Account Rep's with training and maintaining workflow.
High School Grad or Equivalent
Required: Billing - 2 years, Medical Terminology - 2 years
Required: Communication, Complex Problem Solving, Mathematics, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation
Preferred: None, unless noted in the “Other” section below
Certified Pharm Tech strong preferred. Cert Professional Coder preferred. Knowledge of CPT and ICD coding preferred.
