Merchandise - Operations Supervisor/Games Warehouse
Overview * Provides clerical and purchasing support to Merchandise buying staff Qualifications * Ability to use Microsoft Excel. * Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. * Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. * Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Responsibilities * Provides supervision to Merchandise Crew members and Product Coordinators as needed. * Researches employee cash handling variances. Alerts Area Supervisor staff to cash handling violations that warrantdocumentation. * Performs audits on merchandise refund slips to ensure accordance to department policy. * Operates cash register as needed. * Performs other duties as assigned. For example, assists in the set up and stocking of product in retail locations within park. * Enters data into computer. * Performs general office duties such as answering phone and filing paperwork. * Creates and formats spreadsheets. * Performs sales and inventory analyses. Compiles data into sales reports for Merchandise buying staff. * Places merchandise reorders. * Performs inventory counts on products within merchandise retail locations. * Performs duties related to mail order business. For example, sells merchandise to phone customers; handles customer service issues; keeps records of sales; ensures shipment of items; computes weekly sales; prepares paperwork. * Completes purchase orders. * Logs internal transfer, damage and markdown data. * Works with departments regarding interdepartmental product transfers. For example, compares needs of departments to inventory, fills out necessary paperwork and ensures delivery of product to department. * Communicates and corresponds with vendors.
