Residential Program Manager - Harford County Mid-Atlantic Human Service Corp., Baltimore, MD, is a division of The Institute of Professional Practice of Vermont, a private, non-profit corporation with principal interests in serving individuals with developmental and other disabilities. Mid-Atlantic Human Service Corp. has been a licensed provider of the Developmental Disabilities Administration in Maryland since 1998, offering residential, educational, and technical services. Mid-Atlantic now supports over 50 individuals who have autism spectrum disorder, traumatic brain injury, intellectual disabilities, complex medical needs, psychiatric disorders, dual diagnoses and social-emotional maladjustment. Mid-Atlantic Human Service Corp. currently has a FT opening for a Residential Program Manager in Harford County. The Residential Program Manager (RPM) is responsible for the total management and oversight of multiple group home locations. The RPM will coordinate the residential and day services for our individual clients, some of whom have dual diagnosis. This position includes working Monday through Friday, with 24-hour, on-call responsibility. A flexible schedule is required based on the needs of the agency, and may include weekend, evening and holiday hours. The RPM's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Staffing, operations and coordination of maintenance of assigned locations; Manage group home staff to ensure operational efficiency and a high quality of service; Provide hands-on training and instruction of new employees; Responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of the IP; Ensure proper documentation of data Minimum Requirements: BA degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field; Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in serving children or adults with developmental disabilities; Highly motivated, self-directed, and attention to detail are a must; Strong organization skills, coupled with strong follow-up and multi-tasking abilities; Excellent communication and writing skills; The ability to develop and maintain relationships with family members and external advocates; Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications; Must have your own, reliable transportation, a valid Maryland Driver's License, and proof of insurance; Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs., no additional lifting restrictions; Clean criminal background and driving record
