Description Engility has an immediate need for an experienced, energetic professional with a proven track record of managing and growing a portfolio of contracts. This position reports to the Vice President, Army, Air Force and Joint Division and shares responsibility for achieving the Defense & Security Group's business plan objectives. The successful candidate will develop strategy for ensuring near-term and long-term customer satisfaction, employee engagement and growth across a geographically diverse employee population and collaborate with matrixed support teams to successfully achieve results. * This position is able to sit in Chantilly, VA; St. Louis IL; or San Antonio, TX, as travel between these locations will be required. Required Qualifications * Active Secret Clearance * BS/BA with minimum 7+ year's relevant experience in Operations and Business Development. * Knowledge, experience and relationships within the Air Force focused on organizations such as AFRL, AFLCMC, 24th and 25th Air Force * Knowledge of contracting and acquisition in the Government Services market * Manage resources related to achieving annual operating plan metrics (eg revenue, EBIT, indirect budgets, employee utilization, retention rates, etc). * Actively lead, manage motivate and mentor Program Manager direct reports as successful leaders of their respective teams and encourage a value-based culture by engaging employees throughout the client account * Interface with key strategic vendor or subcontractor in support of programmatic or teaming issues, as required * Ability to lead a three-year pipeline development of new business and recompete opportunities * Ability to comprehend and articulate a variety of technical topics * Proven ability to engage customers at all levels in order to fully understand customer needs, share corporate capabilities and begin shaping requirements to enhance Engility's competitive position * Hold P&L responsibility as a demonstrable extension of your overall leadership skills. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Exemplary work ethic, independent judgment and forward-thinking initiative attuned to meeting deadlines * Highly-effective organizational abilities, writing skills and keen attention to detail * Uncompromising integrity and proficiency in the appropriate treatment of sensitive and company proprietary information Options Apply for this job onlineApply Share Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
