Executive Assistant to the President Shippensburg University is currently searching for an Executive Assistant to the President to serve as a key member of President Laurie Carter's leadership team. This is a management position with an expected salary range of $62,000 to $65,000 annually and includes an extensive benefits package. The Executive Assistant to the President is responsible for the overall operation of the Office of the President and support of the President in her official responsibilities of the office. This may include analysis, research, preparation, and editing of a variety of reports and presentations. This position primarily provides professional administrative support, manages all of the President's office operations, supports the Council of Trustees as needed, maintains the President's calendar, logistics, budget tracking, developing and proofing reports and taking meeting minutes for a number of group meetings to include the Executive Management Team, President's Cabinet and others as assigned. This position will require a schedule that includes some evening and weekend hours. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution. Experience should include supporting a senior executive; excellent written and oral communication skills; knowledge of contemporary executive office management, practices and procedures; basic arithmetical proficiency; basic research methods and techniques; demonstrate a commitment to shared vision, excellent written and oral communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality; proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite; and the ability to interpret and apply a variety of rules, regulations, statutes, policies and procedures. A Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and knowledge of Banner and SAP are preferred qualifications. Successful performance in an on-campus interview is required.
