VP - Finance Technology and Innovation
Finance is seeking an experienced and strategic individual to transform how we envision, plan, and deploy technology to deliver strategic initiatives and evolve our business unit support. For this senior role we are looking for an individual with a transformation mindset, technology and systems background, and experience in Agile development. The role will have, and drive, interactions with senior management, the Finance Leadership Team, and external parties including consultants and vendors. Specific Responsibilities: * Responsible for working with key Finance stakeholders, the Technology organization, and external consultants to understand, document, and prioritize improvement opportunities in how Finance leverages existing and planned technology. * Develop and syndicate a multi-year technology strategy and roadmap for Finance that will optimize investment levels and improve organizational efficiency. * Assume leadership for the ongoing Finance efforts to fully transition to Agile. This includes providing leadership to a cross-functional team charged with defining Finance products, identifying product owners, and deploying a scaled agile (SAFE) framework for technology delivery. * Work with Finance Leadership to develop, scope, and plan required change management efforts to ensure successful delivery of the tech strategy and Agile transition. * Partner with the Technology Organization to establish formal protocols to evaluate emerging technologies and supporting vendors (eg. Blockchain, Cloud Computing, etc) to ensure they are incorporated where applicable into our roadmap. * Manage all aspects of the Finance technology investment portfolio including planning, tracking, and reporting of actuals.* Ability to develop a clearly defined and focused strategic vision * Experience with Agile/Product Owner frameworks * Broad understanding of technology development life cycle. Deep exposure in Project Management and Systems deployment. * Ability to lead change, strong change management experience * Excellent communication and presentation skills * Demonstrated ability to work across all levels of the organization.
