Project manages diverse portfolio of corporate event types (seminars, executive roundtables, sponsorships) with specific teams mapped as event type specialists. Drives alignment of messaging and overall strategy; helps to ensure that the right event is delivered to the right audience at the right time. Drives creative thought process and continuous evaluation and refinement of Oracle*s event marketing portfolio. Provides management with reports and analysis on program efficacy for future program selection and budget allocation., As the Events Director for Corp Events, you will have over 15 years event experience, producing and managing all aspects of event programming including, but not limited to budget management, sponsor engagement, venue selection, agenda and content programming, customer journey design, as well as technology & operations for large scale conferences. The events director will be responsible for a broad portfolio of industry events. The Event Director should be seasoned with managing and directing virtual teams, including product development, event operations, sponsor sales, marketing communications, field engagement etc. The Director will also establish, implement and deliver against all event objectives, with a keen eye on reporting. This strategic events role requires a seasoned event professional, with holistic events experience and background, accustomed to working in a fast paced, results-oriented, customer-centric environment. Must be collaborative, flexible, detail oriented, creative, resourceful, enthusiastic, high energy and productive with a demonstrated ability to drive measurable results. Responsibilities: Create and manage the strategic plan for the events. Report on overall program results and measurements of each individual program Matrix manage functional teams, manage expectations to timeline and budgets Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensuring alignment with the business, sales revenue goals and marketing & brand objectives Execute on program objectives and metrics through tracking mechanisms and analysis Full program development and management includes: Manage event agency on all aspects of event management and deliverables Working with Creative Director to execute program deliverables based on the event theme and messaging Manage Breakout Session and Speaker Manager on all operations Manage the Integrated MarCom Manager on the internal and external communications plan Oversee all Budgeting, Operations, Registration, Event Website, Speaker Portals, Sponsor Portals, Microsites and Social Media Oversee and maintain master event timelines, deliverables and program plans and schedules Responsible for budget management: Drive financial reporting for all lines of revenue and expenses Master of onsite implementation along with the internal events team and GPJ Documenting/Preparing/Presenting all post-event program results (measurements & metrics)Acknowledged authority within the Corporation. Acts as a leader of large-scale company initiatives. Viewed by peers as a leader and top contributor and by line management as a key business partner. 12 years relevant work experience. Software business management experience, and Marketing experience in the high-tech industry preferred. Proven ability to manage budget, approval processes, resource allocations in terms of both people and money. Professional credentials in Marketing. Academic credentials desired., 15 years of experience managing and producing large scale event programs, including event operations and logistics. Must have recent experience working for at least one technology company. Exceptional communications skills: verbal/public speaking, written, presentations Exceptional project management capabilities with attention to details Must have the ability to juggle multiple, concurrent demanding initiatives and projects Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar
