Resale - Office Lead
Overview Oversees payroll functions for the retail divisions, manages Resale Office Staff and all functions within the Resale Office. Qualifications Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs. Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Responsibilities Acts as a receptionist for the Resale Division and conducts administrative functions to support Resale Directors. Completes pay discrepancy reports for any pay errors and records total number of errors. Conducts audit of time and attendance usage. Resolves employee questions and problems regarding paychecks and time and attendance. Prints, sorts and distributes time sheets for upcoming week for all locations on a weekly basis. Runs 15 year old employee shift violations reports and investigates violations daily. Calculates times on group worker time cards submitted weekly and forwards the cards to Human Resources. Copies completed time sheets and time adjustment forms weekly and submits originals to the payroll office. Notifies the payroll office weekly of any employees who will not be paid for any reason that week. Runs shift exceptions report for any outstanding time and attendance problems and resolves those problems. Reviews all time adjustment forms submitted for the week and completes all relevant changes on the payroll system. Ensures shifts for all handwritten names on time sheets are actually in the system. Verifies names and employee numbers of all handwritten names on the time sheets. Ensures every department and section submits time sheets each week. Collects time sheets from department boxes and sorts. Interviews, selects, trains, supervises and schedules the seasonal staff for the Resale office. Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions. Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision. Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs. Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies. Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
