Description We are seeking inspired Urgent Care physicians to join Metro IPC, a dynamic Urgent Care practice of the GW Medical Faculty Associates in Washington, DC. Referrals are easy with our GWU specialist partners, the practice is well-established, and everything you need to practice outpatient medicine is waiting for you., Metro Immediate and Primary Care (Metro IPC) is a dynamic community practice of the GW Medical Faculty Associates; our goal is to provide the highest quality Urgent Care delivered conveniently, using cutting-edge technologies, and providing patient-centered, comprehensive care. Referrals are easy with our GWU specialist partners, the practice is well-established, and everything you need to practice outpatient medicine is waiting for you. Our group of four metro-accessible offices is poised to expand within the DC area, and you can become part of that network, growing with it as advancement opportunities will become available for those who are interested. Typical shifts are currently 7, 10, or 12 hours, with weekend shifts of 8am-6pm A cents € " allowing you time to enjoy all of the unparalleled cultural and outdoor activities the metro Washington DC area has to offer. Requirements The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: Medical Doctorate Degree from an accredited US institution and appropriate licensure required. Experience: 2 years of relevant healthcare experience preferred. Competencies: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must be able to follow and understand instructions, and react favorably in all work situations. Must have strong interpersonal skills and be mentally adaptable and flexible in dealing with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the Medical Faculty Associates (MFA).
