This position leads the brand messaging, creative development, strategic brand initiatives, marketing in support of fundraising, and other key outreach and internal marketing efforts for the University. S/he is responsible for the direct management, supervision, and execution of University marketing strategies and initiatives that advance the UniversityA cents € (TM) s strategic plan. Success requires aA cents € oethinker-doerA cents € and a highly collaborative management style.The Executive Director plays a pivotal role in enhancing the University of MarylandA cents € (TM) s reputation and visibility as a preeminent public research university, specifically targeting influencers in the regional, national, international, federal, and state environments. The ED will partner closely with schools and departments across the University to create and lead aligned initiatives that help fulfill the UniversityA cents € (TM) s mission of education, research, and service. This includes attracting high-achieving students, increasing the level of private and public funding, and promoting passion and pride within the University community and among alumni and friends.
