    competencies or knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such
    experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.

    Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by identifying gaps in COMSEC, key management and IA/cybersecurity processes, procedures, capabilities, and funding; identifying and implementing best practices for COMSEC, key management and cyber security; interpreting and applying public laws, executive orders, directives, and regulations governing national security related to COMSEC, key management and cybersecurity; demonstrated knowledge of COMSEC, key management, and cybersecurity/information awareness; development and issuance of COMSEC and key management policy and instructions for agency and the Committee on National Security Systems use.

    BASIC REQUIREMENT:

    Individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.
