Background or Security Investigation: This is a Non-Sensitive position which requires a background investigation.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Appropriate knowledge, training, or experience in educational research assessment, institutional research, research methodologies, design, and statistical analyses. Knowledge of computer applications, survey software, learning management systems and institutional research techniques.
Knowledge of research methods and ability to conduct meaningful statistical analyses and generate reports from databases. Ability to collect, organize and compile data independently. Experience working with database software.
Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, capitalization, and punctuation in order to review and edit a variety of material.
Collegiality, intellectual flexibility, and ability to work with professionals in different fields.
Possesses either a bachelor's degree or master's degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (or international equivalent) in Statistics, Data Management, Higher Education Administration, Educational Research, Mathematics, or other quantitative research-oriented discipline.
Knowledge of research techniques and regulatory guidelines in order to gather, interpret and analyze data.
Experience interacting with foreign cultures, senior military, and government officials.

A screening panel will review your resume and narrative answers to the assessment questions to evaluate your qualifications for the position. NDU uses a multi-tier selection process for academic positions You must attach a separate document with answers to the questions listed below. The following questions will be reviewed by the NDU screening panel.
- Data Collection/Analysis: Please provide examples of your experiences in collecting, managing, and analyzing academic related data to respond to internal and external data/information requests.
- Educational Assessment Practice: Please provide examples of your experience in utilizing Student Learning Management Systems (e.g. Blackboard, Task Stream, (Tk20) to extract, analyze, and report student performance data.
- Survey Development/Reporting: Please provide examples of your experience in assisting in the development and distribution of surveys via online survey software applications (e.g. Survey Monkey, Qualtrics). Please also identify how you would identify the most appropriate statistical tools/techniques to analyze survey data and develop a survey report.
- Writing Skills: Please provide a writing sample (no more than 5 pages) in which you have prepared a written report or study which discusses data as it relates to research. Please indicate to what level of leadership this information was presented.
