DCS has recently won Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) contract and is looking to hire a Test Engineer with experience working with the Army's Program Manager Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT).

Essential Job Functions:

Identifying and assessing improvements to existing products and applications as well as requirements, materiel solutions, and applications for emerging PNT technologies and Augmentation technologies, strategies, tactics and training to meet PNT requirements and support all phases of a system's program life cycle to ensure the system is technically achievable within PM PNT identified product cost goals and schedule.

Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems engineering processes and documents, such as Systems Engineering Plans, Configuration Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, and Integrated Master Plans to facilitate overall execution of PM PNT products. This support includes direct system engineering activities and support of related activities such as risk management, integrated master scheduling, program management support and attendance at program reviews.

Manage, implement, conduct, review, update, and document system engineering activities for PM PNT products to include system engineering activities needed to implement PM PNT products with client systems on Army platforms requiring PM PNT products. This includes taking into consideration such factors as Operational benefits and constraints; integration; interoperability with current and emerging warfighting capabilities; sustainment; and DOTMLPF impacts. System Engineering shall be provided IAW Service DoD guidance and regulations and the systems engineering principles of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Standard 1220.

Developing, reviewing, and updating systems engineering processes and documents, such as Systems Engineering Plans (SEP), Configuration Management Plans, Risk Management Plans, DoDAF architecture products, and Integrated Master Plans and deliver according to PM PNT product Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).

Reviewing and providing inputs for acquisition documentation for staffing through the PM PNT Acquisition chain of command.

Supporting concept development, sensor design, system design, system architecture, hardware, software, and network integration, host platform integration, modeling and simulation, test and evaluation, hardware and software validation support, experimentation and demonstration, of PM PNT products or technologies through attendance, and providing recommendations, at product Integrated Product Team (IPT) meetings, working groups, and engineering meetings.

Attending PM PNT program reviews, including events leading to, and events after the review (i.e. Software Specification Review, System Requirements Review, System Functional Review, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design Review, Production Readiness Review, Functional Configuration Audit, and Physical Configuration Audit); attend weekly and bi-weekly integrated product teams and working groups; and provide inputs and recommendations for engineering, testing, and other improvements.

Providing input into the development of Statements of Objectives, Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, Performance Specifications, associated solicitation documentation, and provide technical advice and assistance regarding proposal evaluation.

Reviewing data artifacts for acceptability and ensure the product-data relationships are maintained; establishing and maintaining database(s) to assist PM PNT Staff with developing and tracking PNT requirements at all levels to support customer requirements analysis, product planning, system engineering support and configuration management.
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in engineering with 8 years of testing experience for commerical GPS and DoD GPS products.

Must possess a Security clearance.

Must have experience conducting automated Global Naviation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver and system analyses against an array of requirements and threat scenarios utilizing modeling and simulation lab testing.

Must have experience with SAASM and Commercial GPS testing.
