Responsibilities The professionals at the National Security Agency (NSA) have one common goal: to protect our nation. The mission requires a strong offense and a steadfast defense. The offense collects, processes and disseminates intelligence information derived from foreign signals for intelligence and counterintelligence purposes. The defense prevents adversaries from gaining access to sensitive of classified national security information. HR Professional provides vital support to the overall mission and employees of the NSA by providing front-line HR services. Applicants applying to this positions will be considered for various HR positions to include HR Generalist, HR Program Manager and HR Recruiter. HR Generalist As a HR Generalist, you will be part of a team that provides front-line HR services by interpreting and applying HR policies and other support-related policies, and regulations. Responsibilities of a HR Generalist include, but are not limited to: - Advising on a full spectrum of HR topics - Implement HR policies and programs - Provide guidance and counsel to employees and managers - Engage in outreach to customer organizations - Assist with briefing the different HR programs offered to the workforce HR Program Manager: As a HR Program Manager, you will be part of a team that provides provide HR-related program management, to include partnering with an array of organizations in coordinating/developing programs and providing guidance on HR. As well as, actively engaging with customer organizations in delivering training and briefings as new HR programs, policies, and procedures are implemented. Responsibilities of a HR Program Manager include, but are not limited to: - Negotiating and executing funding - Establishing and tracking program schedules - Managing contracts - Retrieving, compiling and analyzing program data HR Recruiter As a HR Recruiter, you will be part of a team that identifies high-quality, diverse groups of applicants with the right skills required to ensure the success of NSA's mission of today and tomorrow and facilitate their transition from being an applicant seeking work to an on-board employee ready to support the mission. Responsibilities of a HR Recruiter include, but are not limited to: - Identifying talented applicants - Articulating NSA's exciting opportunities and challenges to potential hires - Building lasting partnerships with Agency hiring officials to bring highly skilled talent onto the NSA team - Representing NSA at various events to include career fairs, information sessions, and professional events. Skills The ideal candidate is someone with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills who is: - motivated - a self-starter - innovative - forward-leaning - can work effectively independently and in a team setting - well-organized - able to handle multiple assignments Qualifications Salary Range: $45,972 - $73,105 (Entry/Developmental) HR Generalist *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position. Salary offers are based on candidates' education level and years of experience relevant to the position and also take into account information provided by the hiring manager/organization regarding the work level for the position. Entry is with a Bachelor's degree and no experience. A high school diploma or GED plus 4 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position. Degree must be in Human Resources (HR), Business Administration, Business Management, or an HR-related field (eg Personnel Counseling Services, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, I-O Psychology, Industrial Relations, Business Administration, or Human Resources Management). At the bachelor's level, may also be in a related field (eg, psychology, sociology, counseling). Relevant experience must be performing HR activities (eg, human capital, health/benefits, retirement, and recruitment) and customer service. HR Program Manager *The qualifications listed are the minimum acceptable to be considered for the position.
