Research Associate, Temporary - Department of Biology

The Department of Biology's laboratory design promotes meaningful and productive interactions while numerous study spaces support innovative and collaborative education. This, combined with our strong ties with the research-oriented Georgetown Medical School, the NIH and other universities in the DC area, provide an exceptional environment for learning and scholarship.

The Research Assistant works with the Department of Biology for the Bansal Lab. S/he works full-time on conducting research for projects on infectious disease ecology and epidemiology. The Research Assistant has duties that include but are not limited to:

  • Conducts literature review, data collection and management.
  • Oversees data mining and both statistical and mechanistic mathematical modeling.
  • Provides research support to the ongoing work in the Bansal Lab.


  •   Bachelor's degree

This is a temporary less than six-month position that will end on or about September 2018.
