    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

    1. Thorough knowledge of a wide range of advanced concepts, principles, criteria, requirements, technology, and practices involved in security.
    2. Extensive knowledge of security program interrelationships to coordinate the objectives and plans of two or more specialized programs to support and promote information sharing and strategies.
    3. Skill to interpret a variety of security program laws, directives, regulations, and guidance to assist staff in establishing and operating internal security programs. Knowledge of security procedures to handle, protect and maintain control of TS/SCI/SAP classified material and media.
    4. Skill in the use of analytical principles, practices, and techniques to review, evaluate, and apply several alternatives according to the security requirements for highly specific situations, availability of materials, relationships with other protective programs, and cost/benefit considerations.
    5. Ability to communicate orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and accurately to a large range of audiences.
    6. Ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers, customers, and other agencies contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.

    "Department of Defense Security Fundamentals Professional Certification, Security Asset Protection Professional Certification, and Special Program Security Certification conferrals are required within 2 years of the established employee EOD or initial assignment date to this position in accordance with DOD
    3305.13-M, DoD Security Accreditation and Certification. The listed certification requirements may not be deleted or modified without the written approval of the AF Security Functional Authority (SAF/AA) or their delegated security career field representative.

    PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
