  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required specialized experience for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:

    GS-09:

    Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year (12-months) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service performing duties related to:
    • Conducting studies and analyses to address asset forfeiture issues;
    • Review proposed organization policies, procedures or regulations concerning the various phases of asset forfeiture program to evaluate the impact on operations; AND
    • Assisting in the Facilitation of implementing or disseminating procedural or policy changes throughout an organization.
    OR

    Education: You must have a Master or equivalent graduate degree or two years of graduate level education leading to such a degree in business, accounting, finance, or other closely related field. (You must submit copies of your transcripts if using education to qualify)

    OR

    Combination of Education and Experience:
    You must possess a combination of graduate level education and specialized experience to qualify for this position (the percentages of education and experience you possess must total at least 100%). Only graduate level education beyond the first year may be combined with experience. (You must submit copies of transcripts if using education to qualify)

    GS-11:

    Specialized Experience: Applicants must have at least one year (12-months) of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service performing duties related to:
    • Analyzing existing asset forfeiture procedures to identify more efficient or effective methods for accomplishing asset forfeiture program objectives;
    • Reviewing proposed legislative proposals concerning the various phases of asset forfeiture program to evaluate the impact on operations; AND
    • Facilitating the implementation or dissemination of procedural or policy changes throughout an organization.
    OR

    Education: You must have completed a Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or three years of graduate education leading to such a degree in business, accounting, finance, or other closely related field. (You must submit copies of your transcripts if using education to qualify)

    OR

    Combination of Education and Experience:
    You must possess a combination of graduate level education and specialized experience to qualify for this position (the percentages of education and experience you possess must total at least 100%). Only graduate level education beyond 2 years may be combined with experience. (You must submit copies of transcripts if using education to qualify)
