In order to qualify for this position, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience at least equivalent to the GS-11 level in the Federal service, with experience in ALL of the following duties: performing the full range of contract administration duties; participating in all phases of the procurement process from requirements definition through contract completion; monitoring contractor performance; providing direction and advice to managers in the areas of contractual strategy and the execution of their procurement programs; and administering contracts that have specialized terms.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide
valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Current or Former Political Appointees: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) must authorize employment offers made to current or former political appointees. If you are currently, or have been within the last 5 years, a political Schedule A, Schedule C, Non-career SES or Presidential Appointee employee in the Executive Branch, you must disclose this information to the Human Resources Office.

Time-in-Grade
Current federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the next lower grade level or equivalent grade band in the federal service. The time-in-grade requirement must be met by closing date of this announcement.

Submit a copy of your most recent Notification of Personnel Action (SF-50) that demonstrates your eligibility for consideration, e.g., length of time you have been in your current/highest grade (examples of appropriate SF-50s include promotions, with-in grade/range increases); your current promotion potential; proof of permanent appointment if applying based on an interchange agreement; etc.
