In order to be considered for this position, applicants must:
-Currently be employed in the Federal Communications Commission in positions serving under career or career conditional appointments.
Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-7 grade in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for the GS-8 level: 1. Analyzing sources of errors; 2. Researching, reconciling and resolving monthly accounting transactions; 3. Reviewing, processing and recording disbursements; 4. Calculating interest, penalties, and discounts.
Specialized Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-8 grade in the Federal service.
Specialized experience for the GS-9 level: 1. Analyzing, interpreting, and applying accounting rules and regulations; 2. Researching, reconciling and resolving accounts payable accounting transactions; and 3. Calculating interest, penalties, and discounts.
