Status candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust - Background Investigation security clearance.GS-14 TIME IN GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level. (Must submit your SF-50 that shows Time-in-Grade eligibility and reflects your title, series, and grade. No award SF-50 will be accepted).
You may qualify at the GS-0560-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. Applicants must have at least one year of full time specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in service which demonstrates: 1) Lead or Supervise the development of budgetary policies to implement goals for an Agency program or Division; 2) Utilize knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, concepts, principles, and methods of budgeting and finance; 3) Perform a wide range of analytical and administrative duties associated with the budget process; 4) Develop of automated budget formulation tools, and maintaining all facets of financial management and strategic planning to advise senior leadership on pertinent resource issues; and 5) Utilize knowledge and understanding of the Federal Prisoner Detention Appropriation.
