  • Travel in the performance of temporary assignments may be required.
  • Must be able to respond to short notice taskings, high priority projects, and complex crisis situations required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance. May be subject to random DoD counterintelligence scope polygraph if assigned to programs or duty locations that have such a requirement.

    Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Experience must be reflected in your resume.

    Specialized experience required for this position is: Knowledge of activities associated with worldwide Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), counter proliferation and arms control. .Knowledge of Combating Weapons of Mass Destruction(CWMD) plans, programs, intelligence, doctrine, and policy. Knowledge of OSD, Joint Staff and Combatant Commands' and Interagency roles and overall missions in relation to the CWMD mission and functional responsibilities.

    This position authorizes the incumbent to carry a firearm.     This position is emergency-essential (E-E). In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or designated alternate, must continue to perform the E-E duties until relieved by proper authority. The incumbent or the designated alternate, may be required to take part in readiness exercises. This position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively; therefore, the position is designated "key," which requires the incumbent, or designated alternate, to be screened from military recall status
