Oversee develop and execute the FP&A Strategy for IT Finance in alignment with Corporate FP&A Provide guidance and deadlines to global leaders to help prioritize initiatives Negotiate and influence business process FP&A transformation and process improvements within IT Finance Implements policies, process, and systems aligned with the strategic roadmap and in support of near term deliverables Accountable for presenting results monthly to senior management on monthly financial forecasts and sources of change Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements to explain variances to forecast, interpret results and incorporate learnings and results into recommendations for future business action Direct the development of a process to consolidate IT Budgets and Long-Range planning for Laureate Deliver timely and accurate financial analyses for IT spend, including monthly forecasts, monthly and quarterly variance analysis and explanations for the Laureate MRCs Accountable for providing support to IT leaders to ensure that any variance over 10% is flagged and explained Provide Finance leadership with IT analysis that helps them to understand the IT operating model and how to operate the business in a more efficient manner supporting the Executive Director and Global CIO decision making Implement and maintain Global IT Executive Dashboard Develop a global charge-back model which conducts better behavior for the final users Responsible for the development of IT business cases for capital projects Assist IT PM's to understand funding and capitalization options for initiatives Perform adhoc analysis, queries, updates, data manipulation and presentations Provide assistance to auditors and internal controls as necessary Master's degree in Finance or CPA required 10+ years of experience in FP&A with a strong analytical track record 8+ years of people management experience Experience in developing and deploying best practices, policies, procedures and processes Builds a network of relationships across IT functional groups, business peers and executive management Well organized, with strong time management skills. Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage & coordinate multiple competing priorities and requests. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and senior leaders in business groups and across finance and multiple locations. Speak English, Spanish and any other language where Laureate has a business Prior experience working with financial models, IT projects, financial systems, business intelligence or databases preferred Highly proficient in Excel. Ability to manipulate large amounts of data using Microsoft Excel Peoplesoft, Hyperion Planning and Tableau Reporting experience highly preferred. Ability to learn new software and systems quickly Must have experience working on multiple projects at the same time Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail Must be flexible and client service-oriented
