Work within a matrix organization, in strong partnership with the BSI Assurance business to provide specialist coaching, support and influence that enable key clients to effectively deliver their people plans. Provide a service that delivers best practice and commercially focused HR solutions that support the business area across the HR functions. Responsible for administering human resources plans and procedures for all Assurance employees and to help areas embed HR strategy., * Provide project management support and HR expertise to the business with specific related projects * Outside of the people plans, identify strategic people issues in partnership with key clients and support them with advice and expertise to resolve these matters. Contribute to the delivery of business area KPIs * Provide personal support on the research, design and development of HR initiatives in support of the HR strategy, using expert knowledge of the client area. Facilitate the creation of an implementation and communication plan into the local business area that achieves the agreed deliverables. * Drive, influence, advise and support the cultural and people aspects of organizational change, structures, people processes and business improvement initiatives within the business area in order to improve business efficiency and people management allowing for flexibility and planned growth. * Provide both transformational advice and transactional support on change management initiatives, organizational / departmental restructures / job role design / outsourcing in order to improve cost and efficiency, clarify accountabilities and empower delivery of great customer service. * Embed a performance management culture within the business area as a means of driving business improvement by ensuring clear objectives, feedback and the improvement of customer service through * Working in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues including the ongoing relations Build management responsibility and capability for managing ER/IR (where appropriate) issues and improve the effectiveness of consultation * Manage strategic people issues, contracting in the services of specialist HR areas as required. * Support business area with disciplinary/grievances and other employee issues where specific business area knowledge is essential * Support the business area with the management development of their people, providing advice, guidance and ad-hoc training on Individual Development Plans and work with the business area to establish and introduce systems that identify employees with high potential, develop career paths in consideration of key roles for succession planning and self-development * Maintain records, reports, and logs for Risk, OSHA, EEO and other employment regulations * Assist Corporate Recruiters in recruitment efforts while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. * Analysis and reflect on exit interviews, out-boarding process, and unemployment claims for terminating employees in connection with local HR staff. * Designs succession plans for key talents and key job positions * Review HRIS records in SAP and ADP in order to compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports. * Review process flow for on-going efforts to streamline HR functions and provide recommendations to management team. * Perform meetings and training sessions with all areas within the Business to evolve projects and to communicate and align HR strategies. * Performs other related duties as required and assigned. * Leads a team of HR Generalists in a matrixed organization Travel: * This position requires moderate international and domestic travel (approximately 10%) including attendance at internal and external meetings and forums.
