My client looking for an enthusiastic, goal-driven & self-motivated Head of Online & Events Marketing for the North America Region. The ideal candidate will lead a team & be responsible for articulating the future strategy for building/adapting my client's online properties for the US domestic market, event marketing success in US & brand building in the region for various offerings. The role will lead a team of approximately 10 marketing staff (including remote offices) and be responsible for generating event attendance at approximately 70 events per year., * Online: This position will help conceptualize and develop a strategy for online portals in the US. The position will also be responsible for articulating the development requirements for mobile/tablet enabled versions of portals. * Content development: Develop content strategy to cater to the US under graduate, graduate and business aspirants. The content should be engaging thus encouraging repeat visits and stickiness to website portals. * Digital marketing: Build traffic though organic searches, paid searches, social media, partners, affiliates etc. * Event Marketing Strategy: Building and leading the marketing strategy for the North America region for all our events - Undergraduate, Masters and MBA & be responsible for developing & effectively deploying marketing strategies for the region, driving an annual increase in ROI. * Team Management: Managing & motivating a team across different offices and driving success through innovation in online & event marketing * Budget Management: Being responsible for a sizable marketing budget ensuring improved ROI across the region by implementing strong, diverse marketing campaigns * Research and New Partnerships: Driving the team and yourself to research new institutions, media and websites to create mutually-beneficial long-term associations to increase the number of media partnerships in the region * Relationship Management: Managing existing partnerships and strengthening the associations to drive higher volume of candidates from current partners by using new, innovative marketing techniques * Campaign Analysis: Maintaining a strong focus within the team on campaign analysis via multiple platforms including Google Analytics as well as in-house tracking system to create timely reports and using the insights for marketing plans for upcoming events. * Business development: Help build other online solutions business in the US. * Masters/ MBA degree is desired. Undergraduate degree essential * 10+ years proven marketing experience ideally for B2C * Marketing experience in the North American market is critical * Leadership and line management experience of at least 3-4 years * Excellent English, both written and verbal * A proven track record in the delivery of integrated marketing communication strategies * Exceptional budget management and analytical reporting skills * Ability to juggle multiple projects at one time * Be a forward thinker - be able to pre-empt challenges and have a problem-solving approach * Have excellent peer-to-peer communication skills * Be able to handle conflict and lead positive change * Great team ethic and be able to work and lead a diverse, international team
