Facilities Project Manager

Key Role:
Coordinate and oversee the completion of activities in all phases of the project cycle of facility construction projects. Manage the project design or construction effort, manage and evaluate contractor performance, integrate and coordinate the project with field personnel, evaluate and determine disposition and manage project change requests, and provide official weekly project status reports. Prepare and distribute project communication with customers, management, integrated project teams, and stakeholders and assist the contracting officer and COTR with acquisition planning, execution, and administration. Collect requirements, prepare SOWs, conduct market research and develop other documentation, as appropriate, conduct technical reviews, and evaluate project solicitations, proposals, quotes, and proposed change requests. Review and approve shop drawings and submissions.

Basic Qualifications:
-2+ years of experience in a professional work environment
-Experience with commercial or government facility construction projects
-Experience with project management
-Ability to handle multiple demanding, complex projects in a timely manner with accurate results
-Ability to work nights and weekends for operational necessities, as required
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:
-Knowledge of sound program management techniques
-Ability to continue to develop professional licenses, certifications, and expertise through formal and on the job training
-Ability to work both independently and as a team player
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills for all organizational levels
-Architect License or Engineering in Training (EIT), NCIDQ, or Professional Project Management Certifications preferred
