Events Coordinator - Baltimore

Prestigious law firm with multiple offices has an immediate need for an Events Coordinator for their Baltimore location.  This position will support the Senior Events Manager with all aspects of the firm’s client events, as well as internal events for the Office of the Chairman and Human Resources. Activities include client entertainment events, educational events, small meetings, as well as events associated with sponsorships, and events hosted at M&S offices.  Specific responsibilities will include: assisting the Senior Manager in the event-planning process from conception through post-event follow-up; design and distribute event invitations via online platform, coordinating event mailing list updates via firm’s CRM, maintain event-related communications with clients, track RSVP’s and provide regular reports, produce printed marketing event materials, provide onsite event support (e.g. registration, speaker assistance, management of attendee concerns/requests), gather/submit materials as required for select sponsorships (e.g. promotional items/giveaways, marketing materials, booth supplies), maintain inventory of promotional items and client gifts, track usage of items and submit reports to accounting, support firm’s holiday and client gift program.   

A college degree and experience in the legal industry is a plus.  The successful candidate will have experience working in a professional service environment, strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, proficiency with MS Office.  Candidate should be a team player with the ability to work independently.  Firm offers an excellent benefits package and salary commensurate with experience.
