Job Title Associate - VA Agency Leasing Job Description Summary Responsible to provide support to real estate brokers and the local leasing group in either Project Leasing or Tenant Representation. Job Description Responsibilities Develop new business primarily through in-person contacts, phone calls, canvassing and follow-up to include; presentations to those who influence decisions and decision-makers and schedule fact-to-face contact with prospective candidates requiring real estate needsReport and update supervisor on calling program status; clients met, potential deals being generated, issues/concerns, and next steps; this will involve using and maintaining the firmA cents € (TM) s CRM software for tracking new business developmentWork with Senior Agents as needed to assist in calls and business development activitiesRepresent the interests of client firms to locate office space (including researching companies and executives, preparing surveys, conducting tours, evaluating proposals, conducting financial analysis, preparing lease abstracts and reviewing lease documents)Responsible for the preparation of marketing materials (including flyers, floor plans, brochures, stacking plans, and maps)Work closely with brokers to prepare proposals and strategies for presentations, as well as working closely with Market Research to pull together market information for clientsDevelop and maintain working relationships with industry professionalsPrepare financial analyses comparing purchase versus lease options Requirements Bachelor Degree; MBA or graduate degree in Real Estate preferredMinimum of 1+ years professional experience in Commercial Real Estate or FinanceOr similar combination of education and experienceMust procure and maintain a real estate salespersonA cents € (TM) s license as requiredProven record of providing outstanding internal and external customer serviceExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdvanced financial background with knowledge of Excel and Argus modelingProficiency with Microsoft Office SuiteBasic understanding of statistics/quantitative analysis; and basic understanding of finance (eg, concepts of present value and return on investment)Detail oriented, self-starter, well organized, able to handle multiple projects at any given time, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated strong interpersonal and sales skills essentialThe qualified candidate will be detail oriented, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, extremely professional, and customer service oriented Physical Requirements Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a dayMay involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and typeAbility to speak clearly so others can understand youAbility to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writingAbility to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understandRegularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displaysInvolves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work to include; conducting tours throughout the property/portfolio, usually performed by walking and/or climbing stairs Cushman & Wakefield is an Equal Opportunity/AffirmatA cents € < Action employer.
