Account Executive The Account Executive will interact directly with the Corporate Officers as well as the technical teams at CTIS to assist in the formation and development of products and services needed to address current and future client (agency) needs. The Account Executive will report directly to the VP, Business Development and will be challenged to accomplish the following: Growing our customer base in agencies within DHHS and further penetrating existing clientsSupport direct sales and marketing activities of CTIS services and products to other customers within the Federal Health (DoD, VA etc.), state, local, commercial and international marketsWork with CxO-level executives (GS equivalents) to identify needs, expectations, etc.Development of an aggressive account plan that prioritizes meeting the existing base and attacking prospects in a logical and methodical fashionDevelopment of strong relationships with both current clientsA cents € (TM) customers and targeted prospects, to position for sales activitiesFinding, qualifying, and defending to Executive Team those opportunities that have best chance for success This is an excellent time to join CTIS. POSITION SUMMARY The Account Executive will establish and manage executive level relationships to generate new and repeat software and services clients. As a leader within the CTIS Business Development team, the Account Executive will have the challenge of helping to grow our book of business. The Account Executive position is primarily field based, with occasional requirements to work out of our Rockville headquarter office.This position will provide sales coverage for the designated account and will be assigned quarterly and yearly sales goals. The Account Executive will use his/her technical and sales skills to initiate and develop long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. The goal of the Account Executive is to facilitate the companyA cents € (TM) s growth through the sales process. The Account Executive will manage the entire sales process, from prospecting through capture, with an expectation of supporting the bid and proposal team. The Account Executive will effectively promote both new and existing health informatics services to both current and potential customers. The Account Executive will, with the support of the VP, Business Development, create account plans that will be used to achieve established corporate sales objectives. Principal Duties Building and executing account plans for achieving quarterly and annual sales and pipeline objectivesIdentifying and prospecting new business leads, including qualification and needs assessmentsBuilding and maintaining a sales opportunity pipeline utilizing company sales and automation toolsPresentation and positioning of CTIS marketing and sales solutions to prospective clientsDefining the capture activities needed to support the development of effective proposals and closing on new business opportunitiesMaintaining client relationships and building new business relationshipsWork with Corporate contracts and Chief Legal Officer to achieve execution of Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements and Master Service Agreements as requiredGenerate sales levels consistent with corporate goals for growth with assigned accountPrepare, update and maintain Account Plans for all active clients Providing market feedback internally concerning the effectiveness of products, services and marketing programs Minimum Educational Requirement Bachelor DegreeMasterA cents € (TM) s degree in related field (ie Engineering, Computer Science, Sales/Marketing, MBA, etc.) preferred Minimum Skill and Experience Requirement Minimum of 5 years in outside sales environment with proven track record in Federal MarketMinimum of 3 years sales experience in Health IT solutions and services to agencies within DHHS (NIH, CMS,FDA, etc.) Demonstrated knowledge of Federal Government procurement processes and trends; Ability to understand and interpret the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)Knowledge of and experience working with GWACS and IDIQ vehicles (CIO-SP3 and SPARC experience preferred) Strong writing, verbal & presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to network effectively in a complex, global accountDemonstrable strong sales skills & ability to work with CxO level executivesProven experience in selling consulting services Knowledge of or experience with the following will lead to job success: Life Sciences experience in either consulting or life sciences company or both, particularly in the CTIS target sectors of biomedical research, health care and public health
