AMEWAS, Inc. is seeking a highly-energetic Systems Administrator to provide support to a major test facility of the Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Patuxent River, MD. This position will reside at a satellite location, just miles away from the Naval Air Station. A typical day as the Systems Administrator: Manage a mid-sized computer cluster comprised primarily of Dell components, which run Windows 2008 R2 server Responsible for both hardware and software maintenance Basic user account support to include: Creation and removal of user accounts Manage user data including home directories, backup, and storage space Qualifications and Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Systems Administrator involving Windows OS Knowledge and experience with Active Directory (AD), specifically with configuring user accounts and permissions Prior experience managing Dell enterprise server hardware (rack, blade, SAN, switches, etc.) is required Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced team environment US Citizenship and a current DoD SECRET security clearance, with SSBI investigation Education: High school diploma or equivalent Current Security+ certification The position is classified as AMEWAS labor category Systems Administrator III.
