Responsibilities This is an opportunity for a highly-motivated, self-starting professional to work as a member of the Noblis team that supports the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). This organization is responsible for the engineering, acquisition, management, implementation and execution of FAA voice and data enterprise telecommunications and serves as the technical focal point for enterprise communications and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) services in accordance with agency objectives. As a member of the dynamic Noblis Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure, and Communications Services (EPICS) team you will be directly involved in the program and life-cycle management of the FAA's enterprise-wide communications services essential to the operation of our nation's air traffic control system. This position requires the ability to effectively juggle multiple priorities, strong organizational skills, willingness to learn and the ability to work as a member of an integrated government-industry technical program management team. Specific duties may include, but are not limited to: Serve as primary technical and operations support to the SWIM Implementation and On-ramping Lead Provide support in the development, design and update of web-based Stakeholder tools and dashboards Advise SWIM On-ramping program management of technical program impacts, risks, alternatives, and recommendations Communicate regularly with SWIM Users and Stakeholders to ensure the effective coordination of efforts and achievement of program milestones Support and participate in meetings and conferences Support management reporting to various FAA engineering and acquisition councils and boards, executives, and internal and external stakeholders Provide expertise in the development of programmatic practices, plans, and procedures Participate in Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Technical Reviews, Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs), and Design Reviews. Provide support as required to develop, prepare, organize, review, track, analyze and disseminate essential information, to include but not limited to: Technical concept briefings and presentations, SWIM On-ramping and User Status and/ or dashboard and tools Qualifications BachelorA cents € (TM) s degree in technical field such as computer science, software engineering, systems engineering A minimum of 3 years of experience Strong professional, interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with MS Office suite including Word, Power Point, Excel Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be US Citizens Ability to satisfy FAA security and resume approval processes Applicants must possess or meet eligibility requirements for passing a background check Preferred Qualifications: Project Management experience Experience working with the FAA, Aviation Systems, Flight Information systems Experience and familiarly with JAVA and .NET Experience using JavaScript, .NET, HTML, web apps and services Enterprise Architecture and SOA, JMS (Publish/Subscribe), Web Services (SOAP/REST) Overview Noblis and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI and Noblis NSP, are solving difficult problems that help our government and our country.
