Computer Facility Operations Supervisor

Position requires a technology background and prior computer system operations experience. Competencies include basic knowledge of enterprise system monitoring, server administration, security concepts, enterprise tape backup systems and storage area networks.
This position requires at least 3 years related experience or the equivalent in combined education, training & experience, however, a Bachelor’s degree in related field and 4+ years of related work experience or equivalent in combined education, training & experience is preferred.
*Years of experience may be counted towards a degree and an advanced degree may be used to count for years of experience.
This position may require travel between the Redstone and the Northern Virginia Are. This position requires 24x7 on-call support and may require the ability to work shift hours to provide 24x7 days a week technical support for the House's information technology infrastructure. Incumbent must be able to secure and maintain Federal Government security clearances as deemed appropriate by management.
