Energize your career at Exelon! PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Perform activities relating to planning, analysis, and maintenance of high quality solutions, capabilities and processes. Supports and provides oversight of system configuration, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Expected to work under minimal supervision. PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES * Perform and document work activities relating to systems, sub-projects, or processes. For enhancements: plan, analyze, and deliver high quality software solutions in accordance with Exelon IT standards. For operations and application maintenance, perform IT activities to maintain existing IT products and processes. Work closely with business partners to understand requirements and guide security systems evolution. 45% * Assist in creation of documentation for systems and services. Use best practices to improve systems and services provided to business unit partners, and monitor adherence within Team/Managed Service Provider to standards as defined within the Management Model. 15% * Maintain and enhance engagement with business and IT partners and other stakeholders. 15% * Establish positive team environment by proactively assisting and training less experienced personnel. Provide performance and development feedback as required. 15% * Maintain technical knowledge and business acumen within own discipline or function. 10% Qualifications POSITION SPECIFICATIONS Minimum: * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline and typically 1 to 3 years relevant experience in Application Development & Support or equivalent combination of education and work experience * Experience with large enterprise-wide systems design, development, and support * Experience with systems architecture, with the ability to understand the overall picture of an application as well as integrations * Ability to work with business users to define requirements and translate into system design * Familiarity with change management, release management, patch and vulnerability management, and incident response processes and protocols * Experience working with managed service sub-teams * Strong problem solving and analysis ability * Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) and ability to work with remote teams Preferred: * Familiarity with principles of application management, including business analysis, quality assurance, operations and support, * Experience with large-scale Enterprise systems; understanding of cloud and on-premise systems, workflows and business processes. * Experience with application software development lifecycle models, both waterfall and iterative. * Familiarity with infrastructure technologies: Active Directory, Exchange, Mainframe, Network Topologies, Job Scheduling, event monitors, Interface models (HTTP, SOA) * Experience with Oracle and MS SQL Server databases and related querying and reporting tools * Understanding of Windows & Unix (Solaris, Linux) technologies, including similarities and differences * Knowledge of regulatory compliance environments such as: Sarbanes-Oxley, NERC CIP, HIPAA, PCI POSITION SCOPE * Utilizes understanding of customer's business needs, processes, and workflows to determine requirements for an integrated identity and access management capability * Applies technical expertise to plan, analyze, maintain or support required systems and processes * Helps other team members learn appropriate theories, practices and principles that relate to their skill set portfolio * As assigned, manage working relationship with outsourcing partners * Expected to work under minimal supervision Exelon is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and employees or applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to: age, color, disability, gender, national origin, race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, protected veteran status, or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
