To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at three years of progressively responsible experience, one year of which was equivalent to at least the NH-01/GS-04 grade level, which includes the following. 1) Assisting with budget execution by ensuring obligations and expenditures are submitted/processed within regulatory time constraints and 2) Assisting in preparing financial reports by gathering documents of receipts, disbursement and budget execution. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04).

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the work of the position, such as business administration, finance, or public administration. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then, divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify.) (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
