  • At the GS-13 level, you must meet the following qualifications:

    One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is that which has equipped the applicant with the competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Specialized experience for this position includes but is not limited to: leading or managing day-to-day assignments for personal property, moving and loading dock staff; and scheduling and directing the orderly assignment of work and successful completion of tasks. Managing all aspects of personal property assets by providing program area guidance to Property Managers in the coordination of conducting property inventories; personal property and fleet data entry into an SAP-based asset management system; and experience in leading Management Control Reviews of a Personal Property Program to ensure compliance with regulations designed to minimize the risk of waste, fraud, and abuse of Government resources.

    Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

    TIME-IN-GRADE: Current career or career-conditional employees of the Federal government, or former career or career-conditional employees, who have a break in service of less than one year, are required to meet the time-in-grade restriction of one year of Federal experience at the next lower grade, with few exceptions outlined in 5 CFR 300.603(b).

    This job does not have an education qualification requirement.

    The duties of this position are suitable for occasional telework and the selectee may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval and if they meet the eligibility criterion in the 2010 Telework Act.

    Stipulations of Employment:
    Selection may require completion of a 1-year supervisory or managerial probationary period.
