This candidate will have recent experience in testing through a full development agile life cycle, including designing, developing, implementing, automating, and documenting test plans and procedures. Job Responsibilities: Riverside Research's Modeling and Application Development Directorate has an immediate opening for a mid to senior level software tester in the Centreville, VA office. This candidate will have recent experience in testing through a full development agile life cycle, including designing, developing, implementing, automating, and documenting test plans and procedures. This tester will be a part of a team of engineers that builds, deploys and maintains operational software, including a web application, several web and windows services, all integrated through an Oracle database. This position will located primarily in the Centreville, VA office, but may require occasional visits to our customer's facility in northern Virginia. Work as a member of a small team, providing testing and quality assurance for a satellite mission planning software suite Write and/or assist in the development of test plans Verify and validate software products Perform final testing of releases Assist in generating test plans and other technical documentation Troubleshoot new and existing software as needed Work to enhance testing standards and automated testing processes Other duties as assigned Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. Required Qualifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance A bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, preferably in CS or MIS Minimum of 5 years' experience and demonstrated knowledge of software testing concepts and tools Demonstrated troubleshooting skills Strong organizational, time-management, verbal communication, and written communication skills Desired Qualifications: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Counter Intelligence Polygraph Experience with automated software testing Experience with database technology, preferably Oracle Experience with software development, preferably using VB.NET or C# Experience using a source code version control system, preferably Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with agile methodologies, such as scrum or SAFe Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence All positions at Riverside Research are subject to background investigations.
