The position will require a thorough understanding of Satellite Systems, Orbital Mechanics, Sensors, and Operations in order to support Collection Planning. This position will also require the ability to perform requirements analysis, and to deploy, configure, test, and debug deployed software. Job Responsibilities: * The position will require an engineer with extensive experience with satellite systems, how they propagate, and how they orient themselves to operate and collect Model systems in Systems Tool Kit (STK) in order to demonstrate system functionality for developers, testers, and customers Interaction with our development staff, understand the software development lifecycle, and understand the AGI product line in order to integrate STK runtime Engine, Components, and Enterprise solutions Close interaction with technical staff from Riverside, our government customers, satellite and sensor vendors, and industry in order to develop requirements, assist in the design of solution, test delivered solutions, and debug issues in the software Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, your resume must provide sufficient experience and/or education, knowledge, skills, and abilities, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are being considered. * Must have an active/current Top Secret/SCI Must have Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Electrical) and/or Scientific (Physics) Must have Aerospace or Electrical Engineering credential (academic and/or experience) in order to solve real-world satellite system technical problems and provide operational solutions. Must have documented experience and thorough understanding of satellite systems / programs Must be able to design solutions (to include algorithm design) which can be incorporated into the existing Riverside Research Software solutions (Collection Planning Suite - CPS, Visual Aircraft Mission Management Portal - VAMMP, etc) These tools are developed using the .NET Framework and Java to store and retrieve data in a database, experience with the following languages and tools is a must: VB.NET, Visual Studio, and IIS Desired Qualifications: Master's Degree in Engineering is desired or equivalent experience Experience with JavaScript, C#, C++, Java, Oracle, and Oracle SQL Developer Experience installing/configuring Windows services, web applications and web services (using IIS), Oracle PL/SQL scripts and Oracle Label Security Experience with Amazon Web Services IND2 All positions at Riverside Research are subject to background investigations.
