Adventist Behavioral Health &Wellness is looking for BS Pharm D degree licensed Pharmacist in Maryland. Hospital experience in Psychiatry preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (BS/PharmD degree).

Current Maryland Pharmacist license required.

Strong customer service skills on the telephone and in face to face contact.

Ability to work independently.

Proficient in Standard Business PC Applications, such as email, word processing, spreadsheets and other applications.

Responsibilities include:

Compounding and dispensing medications

Evaluating patients for appropriate medication usage and dosing.

Providing patient education; and supervising pharmacy technicians in the preparation of medications.

Preparing and dispensing medications and providing patient-specific pharmacotherapy.

Complies with all accreditation, regulatory and safety requirements.

Maintains a professional image and professional growth.

Participates in the process for assessing, managing and reporting medication errors.

Utilizes pharmacy support personnel.

Responds to requests for drug information.

Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Manages time effectively.

Work Schedule

Work eight hours per week and one weekend per month.
