The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is seeking a Graphic Designer to support the design and production of the association’s magazine, publications, resource content, infographics and collateral material across print and digital channels. This role will also develop and manage photography and other digital assets, providing internal customer service across divisions for the use of these assets.

Create original design work for the NBAA brand by providing art concepts and data visualization for print and digital channels.
Serve as the primary in-house designer of Business Aviation Insider, managing the design and production of each print edition from concept to completion.
Support the design and production of Business Aviation Insider mobile app content, as well as collateral design work for the magazine, such as marketing materials and signage.
Create branded templates for documents, presentations, and collateral material to be used by staff.
Manage and fulfill design and image requests internally and externally.
Design original, branded graphics for NBAA’s communications initiatives, including social media.
Create highly visual concept pitches and proposals that demonstrate design skills and creativity.
Adhere to and promote NBAA brand and editorial standards, including working with teams to further develop standards and guidance.
Act as digital asset manager (DAM) of NBAA’s photography and digital asset libraries.
Train and assist staff with locating files, proper usage, and best practices in the DAM.
Collaborate with teams to develop and continually improve the DAM system.
Assist with coordinating nationwide photo shoots and managing freelance photographers.
Participate in NBAA Newsroom efforts in support of on-site photography management.
NBAA seeks candidates with superior creative design skills and demonstrated ability to convert design requests into original and creative concepts. Required qualifications include proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator), experience with editing and managing photographs, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Preferred candidates will have experience with video and animated graphics and knowledge of the aviation and/or association industries.
