Making this happen requires a talented, engaged staff. Our finance operation is looking for an someone with a high degree of proficiency in the processing of accounts payable. The individual we seek will be hands-on, willing to roll up his/her sleeves and work independently with limited supervision. Your primary activities will be include preparing requisitions and checks for disbursement, spreadsheets and reports, assisting with monthly journal entries and the preparation and filing of AP back-up. Administrative responsibilities are primarily related to travel expense reporting and processing.
The ideal background would include:
- A minimum of 2 years of similar experience in a non-profit organization
- General ledger and accounting system experience (MIP Fund
Accounting is a plus). Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
