Senior Service America, Inc. is recruiting for a Project Specialist position within the Senior Environmental Employment (SEE) Program that provides support to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Washington, DC. Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States. Selected candidates will also be required to undergo a federal security background check.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Support one-office project to organize and archive records for the EPA’s national fuels programs
- Support daily scanning and logging of registration documents received for the EPA’s national fuels programs
- Support overall office and records management for EPA’s Fuels Compliance Policy Center
- Support data entry of compliance information for EPA’s Part 80 and Part 79 fuels program
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Successful candidates must meet the age criteria of being 55 years of age or older and eligible to work in the United States; able to pass a Federal Background check; HS/GED or some college; Minimum of 2-5 years related experience in records management; Must have the ability to use Windows Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint).
Hours & Compensation: Full-Time position working 40 hours per week @ $26,000 per year ($12.50 per hour), plus benefits including paid health insurance and generous vacation/ sick/holiday leave.
