DCS has recently won Navigation and Timing (PM PNT) contract and is looking to hire an IT Support Specialist with experience working with the Army's Program Manager Position, Navigation and Timing (PM PNT).

Essential Job Functions:

Drafting for government review and approval, and implementing a formal Information System (IS) security program for PM PNT and execute PM PNT operational information systems security implementation policy and guidelines IAW to Government provided APG Network Enterprise Center (NEC) policies, guidance, and procedures.

Preparing system authorization packages and ensuring systems are operated, maintained, and disposed of IAW Government provided APG Network Enterprise Center (NEC) security policies, processes, and procedures as outlined in the Government provided APG NEC system authorization package.

Coordinating approval of external (guest) information systems IAW Government provided APG NEC policies and guidance.

Conducting periodic reviews of IS to ensure compliance with the system authorization package IAW to Government provided APG NEC policies, guidance, and procedures.

Monitoring system recovery processes to ensure security features and procedures are properly restored and functioning.

Ensuring all PM PNT IS security-related documentation is current to collect and review IS audit records .

Maintaining a repository of system authorizations on PM PNT SharePoint site dedicated IT area.

Coordinating IS security inspections, tests, and reviews .

Responding to IS security incidents IAW Government provided APG NEC policies, guidance, and procedures.

Developing and implementing an IS security education, training and awareness program and managing, maintaining and executing an information security continuous monitoring plan.

Supporting PM PNT IT infrastructure such as computers, monitors, displays, printers, Video Teleconferencing Communications (VTC) equipment, and associated networking devices for daily office operations in support of the PM PNT acquisition mission.

Managing user accounts for NIPR/SIPR/JWICS/etc.

Acting as the PM PNT Information Technology (IT) liaison to the APG NEC and other Army and DoD networks and will coordinate Government approved network access for PM PNT staff.

Troubleshooting and problem solving IT issues for PM PNT staff.

Creating, deleting, modifying, assessing, and updating PM PNT IT assets, such as IT updates and e-mail user groups to optimize the PM PNT IT environment.

Identifying IT issues affecting the PM PNT IT environment; notifying PM PNT Operations and Leadership staff within 1 hour of identification; and recommending courses of action to mitigate or eliminate the issues.

Providing courses of action and material recommendations to PM PNT staff for improvements to and replacements for PM PNT IT infrastructure. This task includes identification and compilation of lists of hardware and software.
Requirements Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology and minimum 4 years of experience in DoD IT support to include DoD IT Security requirements and Security+ certification required.

Must possess a Secret Security Clearance.
