A Law Degree and an active membership in the District of Columbia Unified Bar is required. Must have at least three (3) years of post-law school legal experience, with at least one year of litigation experience.
The incumbent must be familiar with the District of Columbia Code, the rules of the D.C. Courts, and federal legislation, regulations and policies affecting the D.C. Courts.
Employment law experience is preferred.
A working knowledge of the particular methods of Superior Court practice within the various divisions of the Court is preferred.
Foreign Education: Education completed outside the United States must have been evaluated by a private U.S. organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign educational credentials, commonly called a credential evaluation service or education to meet the above requirements.
