MANAGER, CARDIAC DIAGNOSTIC UNIT
Sentara Leigh Hospital is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to work as our Manager of Cardiac Diagnostic Services.

Employees who work in our department play an important role in cardiac care. The highly skilled cardiac team provides state-of-the-art diagnostic testing, diagnostic catheterizations, interventional cardiology/radiology, and cardiac stress testing. Our department is open Monday - Friday 7am to 4:30pm. Our nurses are expected to work on call requirements: Six shifts in a six week period. Our unit is closed on weekends and holidays except for emergent needs which would be covered by the on call nurse. Our unit will provide cross training in Interventional Radiology, Non-invasive Lab, Angiography Suite, Cath Lab, and Cardiac Stress Test Lab.
Assume responsibility and accountability for operations and success of assigned areas. Areas of responsibility are high volume and or have significant strategic and financial impact on current and future success of Sentara Healthcare. Responsible for coordination of the delivery of high quality services that meets or exceed customer expectations. Coordinates the day to day operations, contributes to the success of the hospitals through achievement of system, hospital, and divisional goals. Provides leadership and administers human resource policies and practices in a multi-skilled, multi-functional environment.
Bachelor's Level Degree
