PenFed Title, a subsidiary of PenFed Credit Union, is hiring a Post Closer, PenFed Title in PenFed Title Ashburn. The primary purpose of this job is to incumbent handles the post-closing of purchase and refinance files. Employee provides post-closing support to lender, closing vendors, borrower, sellers, agents, and internally with high urgency to ensure files are disbursed and recorded by required deadline.
Review closing package and recordable documents to ensure they have been accurately executed and notarized, prepared in proper form, are in compliance with all closing instructions, and are received for timely disbursement.
Ensure all recordable documents are properly and timely recorded in compliance with Company's Policies and Procedures and ALTA Best Practices.
Ensure all funds are received and files are balanced. Disburse payoffs, recording checks, and fee checks to ensure fully disbursed file on each case.
Assemble closing package for lender and ensure package is returned to lender for processing.
Responsible for obtaining any missing documents and arranges for errors to be corrected in a timely manner. Coordinates with sellers and/or buyers/borrowers when document(s) need signatures or corrections.
Ensure all requirements for closing are met in order to maintain marketability.
Filing, scanning and other administrative tasks as needed.
Assist with final title policies as needed.
Require to accommodate rotating work schedule.
High School Diploma is required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Effective and positive interpersonal skills.
Must exercise customer service skills and be able to work well independently.
Ability to work effectively under aggressive deadlines.
Effective time management skills.
Title insurance experience preferred.
Ability to multi task, work on a team and be detail oriented.
Knowledge of RamQuest is preferred.
This position will not directly supervise employees.
