Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a RN Unit Coordinator/Supervisor for its New Medical Surgical Unit.

Hours/Shift: 7am -7pm and/or 7pm-7am, Rotating Shift

Department/Position Overview: Brand new, state of the art, 24 bed Medical Surgical, Telemetry unit. This unit space was designed by nurses for nurses. Spacious personal patient rooms with blood pressure machines that talk with EPIC for incredible real time documentation! Patient Population: Cardiac and cardiac Prep, Renal Failure, Vascular Patients, Sepsis, Pneumonia, Sickle Cell, OR-Prep, post-op amputations, post-IR procedures and Diverse Wound care. NICHE Designated: Designated GRN Nurses to help Promote systematic Nursing Interventions that benefit the Geriatric population.

18 months nursing experience required. BSN required; Master degree preferred, if the graduate degree is not in nursing then the BSN is required. Meets any requirements defined by specific specialty. BLS required within 90 days of hire. Professional Specialty Nursing Certification preferred.
