Community Alliance Coordinator-Part Time
Coordinates and supports logistics, membership development, and community outreach for the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Alliance. Duties include:
â€¢ Update and disseminate marketing materials for the Alliance and for the programs offered through the Alliance.
â€¢ Provide outreach to Northern Virginia community groups to increase knowledge of falls prevention, membership in the Alliance, and programs to decrease risk of falls.
â€¢ Provide logistical support for Alliance presence at local meetings and community events for older adults.
â€¢ Regularly communicate with regional stakeholders in falls prevention efforts.
â€¢ Travel to and represent the Alliance at various community events across Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, and Loudoun County.
â€¢ Update website to communicate and link members of the Northern Virginia Falls Prevention Alliance (NVFPA), the community of older adults, and providers of health and safety services to older adults.
â€¢ Bachelorâ€™s degree in health, marketing, communications, or related field
â€¢ Excellent communication and organizational skills
â€¢ Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and spreadsheet management
â€¢ Strong writing skills
â€¢Project management experience
â€¢Community engagement experience
â€¢Knowledge of health and wellness activities with older adults
â€¢Website design experience
