As a rapidly growing company, this role is critical to day-to-day office functionality, but its no ordinary role. This individual will have a wide breadth of technical knowledge and be able to stay abreast of new and intricate networking server software packages. The ideal candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment, and be a team player above all!Responsibilities:Implement and administer LAN/WAN networks including switches, routers, firewalls, VPN appliances, DNS/IP Address management and backup/recovery solutions.Implement, administer and support Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Virtualization and other cloud solutions per business requirements.Microsoft related technologies: Windows Server, Exchange, SQLVirtualization technologies: VMware and Microsoft Hyper-VRemote access solution support: VPN, Terminal Services, and CitrixRemote monitoring and management of system alerts and notificationsAdminister and support data centers, VOIP & power system solutions.Document network configuration standards, network configurations, existing implementations and future projects.Perform periodic audits of network configurations to ensure they comply with documented standards.Review daily logs to ensure network is performing as expected and troubleshoot any issues.Proactively evaluate network infrastructure; identify and test innovative solutions to improve productivity and security.Communication with all users as required: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying them of impending changes or agreed outagesSecurity Software experience such as Anti-Virus, Anti-SPAM, Anti-Spyware, and other security related technologiesProvide feedback to manager regarding recommendations to further improve network related systems and solutions that support the business and protect company information assets.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in engineering or related field5+ years of relative experienceAbility to work independently as well as manage a teamAbility to manage numerous projects simultaneouslyWillingness to contribute to the overall operation of CERTIFY
